Councilor Abdullah Nasir is the Councilor of the northern area of Fuvahmulah City for the 4th term of the Local Council (from 17 May 2021 for the next 5 years).

Councilor Abdullah Nasir completed his secondary education at the Th. Atoll Educational Center. After that, he worked in the resort industry and then worked in the Public Administration sector for 11 years. During this period, he completed many training programs related to his field.

As Abdullah Nasir wanted to continue his education, he went to Sri Lanka and obtained a Higher National Diploma in Business Management in 2012. In 2014, he also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honors in Business Management).

After obtaining his degree, he returned to the Maldives and won the seat of Hoarafushi Council member in the 2014 Local Council elections, serving as the Council President during that term.
