Mushtharige, Fuvahmulah City
15 August 1972 - 8 August 1973
Mr. Ali Ibrahim Dhidi was elected as the Atoll Chief of Fuvahmulah in the 1972 Atoll Committee election by obtaining the most votes. In connection with this success, he arrived in Fuvahmulah on August 26, 1972, and took charge of the office.
However, it is noted that during Ali Ibrahim Dhidi's tenure as Atoll Chief, there was no significant progress in the development of the island. Along with various challenges faced by the residents, due to the lack of adequate development for the island, the government decided to end his leadership. Accordingly, he was instructed to hand over the office to Ali Musa Dhidi, the secretary of Fuvahmulah.
Ali Ibrahim Dhidi left Fuvahmulah on February 2, 1973. This journey was to take him to Male to be removed from his Atoll Chief position. His official tenure as Atoll Chief ended on August 8, 1973.
