Due to open defecation practices in certain areas of this island, and the accumulation of waste related to some livelihoods and activities (such as fishing, agriculture, cement work, construction and metalwork), complaints have been received by this council regarding the adverse effects on environmental health and the cleanliness of the island.

Therefore, the owners of the open defecation areas in this island have been notified and announced to clean up the areas by removing all waste related to public facilities and livelihoods in those locations.

As maintaining the cleanliness of the island is a responsibility shared with everyone, we hope that all citizens will provide full cooperation and assistance in this endeavor.
