MVR 17,980.00 per month (Seventeen Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty)

Job Allowance:

MVR 8,390.00 per month (Eight Thousand Three Hundred Ninety) (Level 1 grade)

Attendance Allowance:

MVR 225 (Two Hundred Twenty Five) per day of attendance

Other Allowances:

Pension Contribution as provided under the Pension Law of the Maldives.

Overtime pay as per the rules applicable to Civil Service employees.

Ramadan Allowance each Ramadan month as per the established rules.

Main Responsibilities and Duties of the Position:

Carry out necessary work to address issues that arise with applications used in the Council.

Set timelines for developing the software required to achieve the tasks in the Council's Digital Roadmap, and facilitate the work of the Development Team.

Facilitate the Development Team's work in preparing portals and applications needed to modernize the Council's work, and ensure the work is done according to the required standards.

Maintain version control of the source code of applications and portals prepared in connection with the development work done in the Council.

Continue to work with the relevant parties in performing the necessary work to integrate another agency's system with the Council application.

Continue to perform the necessary work to deploy and host applications and portals.

Developing a Council application by designing User Interface and User Experience

Working with relevant parties to make necessary changes to applications related to Council policies and changes in government policies

Making necessary changes to the Council's website and maintaining those matters

Providing guidance on work to be done to maintain ease, scalability, and progress in the current state, and producing complete and accessible technical documentation

Fully supporting the implementation of decisions approved by the Council, and performing all administrative tasks required in implementing such decisions under the guidance of the Secretary General or Supervisor

Being fully responsible to the Council and Secretary General in all matters related to the work of the Council's administration

Position Requirements:

Possessing a Level 9 qualification from the National Qualifications Framework of the Maldives in the field related to the work of the position

or

Possessing a Level 7 or 8 qualification from the National Qualifications Framework of the Maldives in the field related to the work of the position, along with 4 years of work experience in the field of work of the position

(e) If employed in a closed state institution, or a closed private company or private institution, or a closed national or international organization or association, the job held and the duration of the job (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the job (even if the job was held in different positions in one institution) and if a letter is not received from that office, the "Reference Check Form for Experience of Closed Positions" in Schedule 8 of the Recruitment Principles.
