Other Allowances: | Pension Contribution under the Pension Law of the Maldives. Overtime allowance as provided in the rules applicable to Civil Service employees. Ramadan Allowance in every month of Ramadan as per the rules. |
Main Responsibilities and Duties of the Position: | Perform necessary work to identify and resolve problems in applications used in the Council. Maintain source code version control of applications and portals prepared in connection with Council development work. Make necessary changes to the Council's website and maintain those items. Coordinate with relevant parties to perform necessary work for integrating systems from other institutions with the Council application. Design user interface and user experience while proceeding to develop a Council application. Proceed to perform necessary work for deploying and hosting applications and portals. Working with relevant parties to introduce necessary changes to align Council policies with government policies and changes to those policies, and to introduce necessary amendments to applications. Continuing to work under the guidance of a supervisor to prepare portals and applications needed to digitize work in the Council. Providing guidance on work to be done to facilitate maintenance, scalability, and forward improvement, and to produce complete and accessible technical documentation. Bearing full responsibility to the Council and the Secretary General in all matters related to the work of the Council's administration. Upon full authorization by the Council to implement approved decisions, implementing such decisions according to guidance from the Secretary General or Supervisor as required administratively. |
Position requirements: | A certificate of level 7 or 8 from the National Qualifications Framework of the Maldives in a field related to the position. |

(C) If work has been done in a national or international association or organization, a letter issued by that place describing the job performed, the duration of the job (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the job (even if the job has been performed in different positions of one institution) separately (this letter should state whether the position held is a remunerable position or not, or in the alternative, an official letter issued by that place stating this fact). (D) If a letter issued by the authorized department, or an authorized private company or private institution, or an authorized national or international association or organization is not available, the "Reference Check Form indicating work experience at authorized places" in Table 8 of the Recruitment Principles. |
