Main responsibilities and duties of the position:

Carrying out maintenance of buildings and common areas of 25 apartment buildings containing 200 flats and their boundaries.

Cleaning and maintaining the boundaries around apartment buildings regularly.

Daily cleaning and maintenance of yards, common areas of apartment buildings, checking locks and sensors in yards, replacing damaged or faulty items, and maintaining the yards.

Waste management at the premises in accordance with the regulations and procedures of the Maldives Waste Management, waste collection procedures of Fuvahmulah, and waste management principles established by the Waste Management Center.

Monitoring persons dumping waste in the common areas of apartment buildings.

Removing and cleaning items and miscellaneous objects placed in common areas if found.

Trimming grass borders in garden lots if they extend beyond the lot boundaries.

Cutting grass and removing waste placed in common areas, and removing waste placed in no-dumping zones.

Maintaining and cleaning the children's park located within the boundary of the Dhadimagu flat, and managing waste.

Cleaning items placed inside the park.

Cleaning the grass on the boundary of the park and maintaining the bathrooms in the park (1 double and 2 single bathrooms).

Maintaining the road bathrooms in the area (55 single and 7 double bathrooms).

Carrying out renovation work in some buildings.

If some buildings have broken public areas and CDI pipes and railings, carrying out work to repair and fix them, and if railings are broken, carrying out work to repair and fix them.

If the exterior walls of buildings are damaged due to actions by residents or other parties, cleaning, removing rubbish, and carrying out work to ensure that the interior of buildings and structures are not visible and damaged.

Cleaning common shared sewage or waste in buildings if clogged.

Routine checking of water pumps provided by the council to residents and if any problems occur in water supply, solving those problems. Obtaining necessary items for maintaining water pumps in situations where maintenance is needed and carrying out maintenance.

If water pumps become unusable due to serious damage or breakdown, carrying out the tasks of replacing the water pump.

Cleaning the drainage pipes on the boundary containing the buildings when needed and solving problems with drainage pipes on that boundary. Solving problems according to the size of the work.

Cleaning all drains of the buildings in the area every 4 months regularly and carrying out drain cleaning work.

Maintaining the oxygen pumps placed in the waste drains and cleaning the pump hose and pipes twice a month. And if broken, carrying out replacement work.

Cleaning and maintaining elephant tusk windows, fire blankets, smoke detectors and all items in this system in the public areas of the buildings. And if they are damaged and need to be replaced, carrying out replacement work.

Fully supporting the implementation of decisions approved by the council, and in accordance with guidance from the Secretary General, carrying out all administrative tasks required to implement such decisions and assisting in implementing those decisions.

Fully supporting the administration of the council and taking full responsibility for all matters related to the implementation of council decisions and council administrative work.
