Job Allowance:

Attendance Allowance:

MVR 70 (Seventy) per day of attendance

Other Allowances:

Pension contribution under the Pension Law of the Republic of Maldives.

Overtime pay for civil service employees as per established rules.

Ramadan allowance in each Ramadan month as per established rules.

Main Responsibilities and Duties of the Position:

Monitoring large projects implemented and ongoing in Fuvahmulah by the Council, and submitting reports and information to relevant parties regarding such projects.

Preparing detailed costs of projects and programs to be included in the budget for the current year based on the district development plan, and projects to be submitted to PSI by the end of July and submitting to the budget section.

Preparing designs and detailed work plans for projects that the Council will implement, and preparing BOQs for work details.

Overseeing the progress of projects implemented by the Council, providing necessary guidance, and managing the entire project to improve work quality.

Preparing project completion reports upon completion of Council projects and identifying areas that need further improvement.

Preparing sketches to show the details of bins currently distributed in Fuvahmulah and updating block divisions to be clearly identifiable.

Providing all necessary assistance required for all matters conducted by the administration.

Dealing with matters arising from special circumstances - When an emergency situation arises and the office is notified, completing work efficiently so that the matter is resolved before the office closes. Taking full responsibility to the Council and the Secretary General on all matters related to the Council administration's work.

Position requirements:

Having a Level 4 qualification from the National Qualifications Framework of the Maldives related to the position's work and field, and obtaining a 'C' grade or above in 'Dhivehi' in the 'Secondary School' Certificate examination.

or

Having obtained an 'E' grade or above in 'Dhivehi' in the 'Secondary School' or 'Higher Secondary School' Certificate examination in at least 2 subjects or equivalent examination at the same level.

(b) Copies of educational certificates issued by local educational institutions in the Maldives and copies of transcripts; or copies of course completion letters and copies of transcripts.

(a) If employed in a Civil Service position, in a state institution, or in a government-owned enterprise, a document issued by that office stating the position held, duration of employment (in years, months, and days), and job responsibilities (even if employed in different positions within the same institution).

(This document must state whether the position held is a compensated position or not, or alternatively, an official letter from that organization stating this.)

(e) If employed in a liquidated state institution, or a liquidated private company or private institution, or a liquidated national or international organization or association, a document issued by that office stating the position held and duration of employment (in years, months, and days), job responsibilities (even if employed in different positions within the same institution), or if such a document cannot be obtained, the "Reference Check Form for Experience at Liquidated Institutions" in Table 8 of the Recruitment Regulations.
