MVR 7,700.00 per month (Seven Thousand Seven Hundred)

Job Allowance:

MVR 2,310.00 per month (Two Thousand Three Hundred Ten)

Attendance Allowance:

MVR 60.00 (Sixty) per day for attendance

Other Allowances:

Pension Contribution as provided under the Maldivian Pension Law.

Overtime allowance as per the rules established for civil service employees.

Ramadan Allowance in each Ramadan month as per established rules.

Main Responsibilities and Duties of the Position:

Cleaning and maintaining roads marked with tar and paint

Cleaning and maintaining street corners, gutters, bins, and similar areas

Removing waste scattered on roads and cleaning roads

Collecting and removing fallen trees and cleaning roads.

Cleaning the sides of roads maintained by the office

Responding promptly to instructions given by the office in case of natural disasters or emergencies and performing necessary tasks

Performing all necessary tasks for street sweeping

Maintaining and repairing street signs

Installing and maintaining cables required for streets.

Changing and maintaining lights on streets according to instructions given by an electrician

Carrying out cable installation work that needs to be done to divide the building

Carrying out work to lift equipment and lifts needed for building maintenance work

Also carrying out work related to these matters as directed by the office.

Implementing the decisions approved by the Council with full responsibility, and carrying out all administrative matters required in implementing such decisions under the guidance of the Secretary General or Supervisor

Full responsibility to the Council and Secretary General in all matters related to the administrative work of the Council office and the implementation of Council decisions

(a) Copy of educational certificates and transcripts issued by institutions outside the Maldives, accredited by the Maldives Qualifications Authority at a specified level; or in case of no certificate, copy of course completion letter and copy of assessment report and transcript issued by the Maldives Qualifications Authority;

(b) Copy of educational certificates and transcripts issued by higher education institutions in the Maldives; or copy of course completion letter and copy of transcript.

Copy of documents matching the following categories that demonstrate work experience:

(a) If employed in a civil service position, in a state institution, or in a government-owned company, a letter from that office stating the position held, duration of employment (in years, months, and days), and job responsibilities (listing separately if employment was held in different positions within one department).

(A) From the experience of Civil Service https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/ Without finding the experience period prescribed, the performed position, the period of the position (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the position (even if the position is held in different positions in one institution) separately stated and issued by that office.

(B) If employment has been carried out in a private company or private institution, the performed position, the period of employment (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the position (even if the position is held in different positions in one institution) separately stated and issued by that office, and the number of employees at the place of work.

(C) If work has been carried out in a national or international organization or association, the performed position, and the period of work (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the position (even if the position is held in different positions in one institution) separately stated and issued by that place (in this letter, it should be stated whether the position held is a transferable position or not. Alternatively, an official letter issued by that place stating this should be submitted.)

(D) In an authorized institution of the State, or in an authorized private company or private institution, or in an authorized national or international organization or association, if a letter issued by that office is not available stating the performed position and the period of the position (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the position (even if the position is held in different positions in one institution) separately, the "Reference Check Form indicating the experience of the authorized place" in Table 8 of the Recruitment Principles.

Interview and examination venue and duration:

The interview for this position will be held between 15 September 2026 and 15 October 2026 at Fuvahmulah City Council.

Within 3 days of the interview (excluding weekends), the "Score Sheet (A2 Sheet) showing points obtained by candidates shortlisted for the position" will be published in this office and on the office website. If there are any objections to the points given to the candidates shortlisted for the position, such objections should be submitted to this office within 3 days from the date of publication of the A2 Sheet (excluding weekends).
