Monthly 6,500.00 (Six thousand five hundred) Rufiyaa

Service Allowance:

Monthly 3,500.00 (Three thousand five hundred) Rufiyaa

Other Allowances:

- Pension Contribution as per the Pension Law of the Republic of Maldives

- Overtime allowance in accordance with the principles set for civil service employees

- Special Duty Allowance : 35% of salary

Key Responsibilities and Duties of the Position:

To prepare concepts, drawings and BOQs for projects decided to be implemented by Fuvahmulah City Council.

To work as a Site Supervisor on behalf of the City Council on ongoing projects in Fuvahmulah.

To prepare daily reports on projects ongoing in Fuvahmulah and submit to the section head.

To provide assistance to contractors on behalf of the Council during project execution in Fuvahmulah and to make daily decisions on matters that need to be decided by the Council based on consultation with the section head.

To monitor and communicate daily the quality of the contractor's work and the corrections that need to be made during project execution in Fuvahmulah.

To assist surveyors in surveying locations related to ongoing projects in Fuvahmulah.

To maintain and prepare documents related to issues encountered and changes made in projects ongoing in Fuvahmulah and submit to the section head.

To identify and prepare monthly reports on the progress of projects ongoing in Fuvahmulah, completed works and areas that need further improvement.

To provide guidance on the progress of projects implemented by Fuvahmulah City Council and work to ensure quality of work.

To prepare project completion reports upon completion of projects by Fuvahmulah City Council and identify areas for further improvement.

Position Requirements:

To have obtained a qualification of Level 6 or 7 on the National Qualification Framework of the Republic of Maldives in an educational field related to the work of the position.

Or

To have obtained a qualification of Level 5 on the National Qualification Framework of the Republic of Maldives in an educational field related to the work of the position, along with 2 years of work experience in a field related to this position.

Or

Educational qualifications related to the position: Level 4 qualification from the National Qualifications Framework of the Maldives and a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the field of Architecture.

Educational requirements for the position:Architect, Quantity Surveying, Structural Engineering, Urban Planning, Interior Design, Construction, Civil Engineering.

The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position:

Ability to use software such as CAD 05, Photoshop, Sketch Up.

Having the skill to supervise projects.

(e) If previously employed in a state institution, or in a private organization or private institution, or in a national or international organization or society that has been closed, and if no letter can be obtained from that office, the "Reference Check Form for Applicants" contained in Schedule 8 of the Recruitment Rules.

The criteria for the most eligible person for this position are contained in item 12 of the Civil Service Job Appointment and Recruitment Rules and Standards 2021 (Second Amendment).
