Salary:

MVR 9495.00 per month (Nine thousand four hundred and ninety-five)

Job Allowance:

MVR 2850.00 per month (Two thousand eight hundred and fifty) (1st grade standard)

Attendance Allowance:

MVR 75 (Seventy-five) for each day of attendance

Other Allowances:

Pension contribution under the Pension Law of the Maldives.

Overtime payment as per the rules applied to civil service employees.

Ramadan allowance in every month of Ramadan as per the established rules.

Main Responsibilities and Duties of the Position:

To review available and unavailable services information every week once, consult with the department head, and decide on improvements according to established standards and to implement accordingly

To carry out work related to public disclosure of financial information of the state according to regulations, to announce tenders and provide information to bidders, to receive and evaluate bids, and to continue the evaluation work according to the procedures set by the department head

To obtain daily required items, and to work on setting a timeframe for obtaining unavailable items

To maintain records of procurement work

To obtain items required from the City Council administration

To hand over work done under the advice of the Legal Officer for agreement execution

Submitting to the budget documents related to works that can be carried out by announcing or seeking quotations, items to be sought, and services received, after checking the service delivery and confirming that the service has been fully received, along with bills and related documents.

Carrying out all work related to procuring materials needed for Fuvahmulah City mosques in accordance with financial regulations.

Carrying out all work that the administration needs to do in accordance with financial regulations.

Preparing and announcing project announcements.

Preparing project tender documents and arranging project bid opening, and conducting bid opening.

Distributing documents to parties obtaining project documents, and maintaining received documents.

Storing and maintaining bid documents submitted for announced projects.

Arranging and conducting project pre-bid meetings, and preparing pre-bid meeting minutes.

Carrying out all administrative matters required to implement decisions approved by the Council under the guidance of the Secretary General or Supervisor in fully implementing such decisions.

Full accountability to the Council and Secretary General in all matters related to the Council administration work.

Position Requirements:

Possessing a certificate of level 5 or 6 from the National Qualifications Framework of the Maldives in the field related to the position's work.

Copies of pages of the ID card (National ID card) showing that the applicant is a Maldivian citizen (even if the validity period has expired), or a copy of a document in which the written information can be read. Or if the ID card is lost, the applicant's birth certificate, passport or driving license.

Employees with an agreement to serve the Civil Service / Government.If appointed to a higher position, a letter issued by the office where the employee works confirming that there is no objection to leaving the current position.

Copies of obtained educational certificates;

(a) Copies and transcripts of educational certificates issued by institutions outside the country recognized by the Maldives Qualifications Authority at the prescribed level; or: In cases where there is no certificate, a copy of the course completion letter and a copy of the assessment report and transcript issued by the Maldives Qualifications Authority

(b) Copies and transcripts of educational certificates issued by secondary education institutions in the Maldives; or copies of course completion letters and transcripts.

Copies of documents relevant to the following criteria indicating work experience:

(a) If employed in a civil service position, a state institution, or a government-funded organization, a letter issued by that office stating the job held, the duration of employment (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the position (even if employed in different positions in one organization) separately.

(A) From the experience of civil service https://myaccount.csc.gov.mv/ a letter issued by that office stating the position held in the manner of specifying the periods of experience not listed in, and the duration of the position (in years, months and days), and the responsibilities of the position (even if the position was held in different posts of one department) separately.

(B) If employed in a private company or private institution, a letter issued by that office stating the position held, the duration of the position (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the position (even if the position was held in different posts of one department) separately, and the number of employees at the place of work.

(C) If worked in a national or international organization or society, a letter issued by that place stating the position held, and the duration of the position (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the position (even if the position was held in different posts of one department) separately (in this letter it should be stated whether the position held is a paid position or not, or alternatively an official letter issued by that place stating that fact).

(D) If worked in a government authorized institution, or an authorized private company or private institution, or an authorized national or international organization or society, a letter issued by that office stating the position held and the duration of the position (in years, months and days), the responsibilities of the position (even if the position was held in different posts of one department) separately, or if not obtained from that office, the "Reference Check Form stating the experience of an authorized workplace" in Table 8 of the Recruitment Principles.
