Main Responsibilities and Duties: | Purchasing goods required by the City Council office Assigning work on contract creation under the Legal Officer's advice Checking and signing bills for procured goods and services obtained through announcements or quotations, and forwarding relevant documents to the budget Procuring all necessary items for 28 mosques in Fuvahmulah City in accordance with financial regulations Ensuring all office work is done in compliance with financial regulations Project Announcement Preparation and Announcement Preparing Project Tender Documents Distributing Documents to Project Document Purchasers and Managing Received Documents Organizing and Conducting Pre-Bid Meetings and Preparing Pre-Bid Meeting Minutes Organizing and Conducting Bid Opening Safely Storing and Managing Bid Documents Submitted for Announced Projects Maintaining Procurement Work Records Conducting Work According to Public Announcement Standards in Line with State Financial Regulations, Including Announcements for Purchasing Items, Providing Bid Information, Receiving and Evaluating Bids According to Procedures Determined by the Department Head Procuring Daily Required Items and Working to Determine Timeframes for Unavailable Items Consulting with Department Head at Least Weekly Regarding Procured and Unacquired Items and Services, and Taking Appropriate Actions According to Established Procedures Fully Responding to the Council and Secretary General Regarding All Matters Related to Council Office Work and Council Decisions Fully Cooperating in Implementing Council Decisions and Carrying Out Administrative Tasks Under the Advice and Guidance of the Secretary General or Supervisor |
Position Conditions: | Hold a Level 7 or 8 Certificate from the Maldivian National Qualifications Framework in an Educational Field Related to the Position's Work.
