Job Allowance:

6575.00 (Six Thousand Five Hundred Seventy Five) Rufiyaa per month ( 1st grade standard)

Attendance Allowance:

180.00 (One Hundred Eighty) Rufiyaa for each day of attendance

Other Allowances:

Pension Contribution under the Pension Law of the Maldives.

Overtime pay for civil service employees as prescribed.

Ramadan Allowance in each Ramadan month as prescribed.

Main Responsibilities and Duties of the Position:

Monitor the quality of construction projects conducted by the City Council on a daily basis and prepare related reports

Approve construction projects prepared by the Construction Officer conducted by the Council

Issue building permits for construction in vacant plots in the Council and verify that buildings constructed in the island conform to building codes

Conduct inspection on quality and correct deficiencies of construction projects conducted by the Council upon completion

Issue permits for construction in vacant plots in the island and verify that buildings constructed conform to building codes

Review projects sent by the government to Fuvahmulah and provide advice to the Council regarding the quality of the project

Workers carrying out construction work in Fuvahmulah City must comply with safety standards and necessary measures should be taken in this regard.

Establishing principles for laying cable networks on the roads of Fuvahmulah City and monitoring road networks in a systematic manner.

Conducting inspections of buildings constructed in Fuvahmulah and ensuring their safety.

Providing technical assistance for projects being implemented and to be implemented by the Council.

All administrative and technical works of the Council's administration shall be carried out under the guidance and direction of the Council and the Council's Secretary General, and shall be supervised and managed.

Being responsible to the Council and the Secretary General in all matters related to the Council's administration works.

Position requirements:

Possessing a qualification at Level 7 or 8 of the National Qualifications Framework of the Maldives relevant to the position.
