Completion Ceremony of the Second Batch of the "Ufakara" Training Program

The completion ceremony of the second batch of the "Ufakara" training program, which was conducted in Fuvahmulah City, was held today.

"Ufakara" is a training program aimed at food producers and sellers, with the objective of further improving food safety and quality. This program, conducted in collaboration with Fuvahmulah City Council and the Maldives Food and Drug Authority from the 14th to 16th of this month, has been completed by 74 participants.

The main objectives of this program include teaching techniques for safely producing and preparing food, providing information on improving product quality, and familiarizing participants with food-related laws and regulations.

This training program is mandatory for home-based food producers to complete after registering on the "Diriti" portal. Training sessions for the "Ufakara" program were also conducted in this city in May, with 64 participants completing the training.
