Road Work Permits
In situations where it is necessary to close roads in this city to carry out work, permission must be obtained from Fuvahmulah City Council to perform such work. Accordingly, road closure for digging roads, placing items, construction work, social work, and other activities is done according to the Road Closure Regulations (2019/R-967) and the Road Digging and Placing Items on Roads Regulations (2019/R-974).
- Fill out the 'Issuance of Road Permit' form from One.gov
- Select the type of work to be carried out on the road
- The Council will verify the form and inspect the area requested for closure to ensure the area is in a condition suitable for work
- If the area is suitable, a link will be sent via message or email to pay the road closure fee
- Upon payment of the fee, the permit issuance document and road closure boards will be provided by the Council
