Position Name: Sales Assistant (Contract)

Worksite: Authentic Fuvahmulah Trading Showroom, Fuvahmulah

Salary and Allowances

• Basic Salary: 4,500.00 Rufiyaa
• Pension (7%)
• Service Allowance: 2,200.00 Rufiyaa
• Attendance Allowance (MVR 70 per Day)
• Special Duty Allowance (35% of Basic Pay)

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Promote and provide information about Fuvahmulah-made products
• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints efficiently
• Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system for billing and payments
• Maintain showroom cleanliness, stock displays, and merchandise arrangement
• Keep inventory updated and report low-stock items
• Support local artisans by learning about and sharing product origin stories
• Assist in organizing in-store promotions and community engagement events
• Maintain accurate sales records and contribute to weekly reporting
• Other ad-hoc work as required by the Company

Requirements and Skills

• Minimum O' Level (Secondary School) qualification
• Previous experience in sales or customer service (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and digital payment handling
• Passionate about promoting local products and culture
• Friendly, approachable, and able to work in a team
• Fluency in Dhivehi and basic English is required
